  2. Public Hearing: Proposed Amendments to Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Map

    This meeting will be held virtually. The Planning Policy Commission will hold a public hearing on Oct. 14, at 6:30 p.m. The purpose of the hearing is to take public testimony on the proposed annual Issaquah Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Map amendments which include the redesignation and rezone of nine parcels, all acquired by the City of Issaquah. The parcels are: 4123400430, 2024069107, 2024069030, 2024069017, 2924069003, 2924069004, 2924069008, 2924069009 and 2924069013.

    Other proposed amendments include:

    • the Land Use Element, including the annual update to the City’s population, housing and jobs data based on updated information from the state; updated Climate Action goals and policies; and Issaquah’s Remaining Land Supply and Capacity Chart;
    • update of the Olde Town Plan Action Program and Implementation Status Chart; and
    • update of the Public Facilities map.
