1. How were holidays selected?

Priority was given for holidays that pose work restrictions and therefore would limit community members’ ability to participate in public engagement. Consideration was also given to: the demographic representation in Issaquah and for holidays that provide an opportunity for individual and community reflection, increased awareness and understanding.

2. How many holidays have work restrictions?

For 2023, 15 holidays have major work restrictions.
