Who needs a business license?
All businesses operating within City of Issaquah limits are required to obtain a license from the City. A business includes all services and activities engaged in with the object of pecuniary gain, benefit or advantage to the person or another person or class, directly or indirectly. Obtaining a LicenseCity Limit Boundaries
The City of Issaquah partners with the Washington Department of Revenue to issue business licenses. The City license is added as an endorsement to your state business license.

Courtesy, temporary and solicitor's licenses are issued by the City of Issaquah's Permit Center.

Before applying for a City of Issaquah business license, please verify that you will be conducting business within the City of Issaquah limits.

The neighborhoods of Klahanie and Mirrormont are not within the City of Issaquah's jurisdiction. The dotted lines on the map above indicate the city limits.
