Unfunded Transportation Capital Priorities
During this review, council will also continue its discussion of funding options for Issaquah’s unfunded transportation capital priorities.
In March 2019, staff provided the City Council with an overview of a potential plan to fund seven transportation projects on the unfunded transportation capital needs list, leveraging a combination of existing debt service capacity and a 0.2 percent voter-approved increase in the sales tax rate, as allowed under the Transportation Benefit District (TBD).
